Use your expertise while growing your career as a Compliance Officer with our Venice Family Clinic. The Compliance Officer will provide leadership and support in the development, implementation and maintenance of compliance and risk management activities at our Venice Family Clinic. This role will report to the Chief Strategy and Administration Officer, and will be responsible for implementing, overseeing, monitoring, enforcing and, when necessary, modifying the Compliance and Risk Management Program at Venice Family Clinic. The Compliance Officer works with key management and executive staff to develop written standards and procedures, conduct internal auditing and monitoring, provide staff training and education, investigate possible violations, develop corrective action plans and when appropriate, enforce disciplinary standards. In this leadership role, the Compliance Officer will also supervise staff who support compliance activities, including administrative support and credentialing specialists.

Salary range: $105,200.00 – $250,600.00 Annual
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy or related field; OR a Master’s degree; OR the equivalent in a combination of education/experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with compliance management and risk management (previous experience in a community clinic or health care setting is preferred).
- Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and laws which impact clinic/FQHC operations including HIPAA.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Strong interest in Health Information Technology and the ability to master a practice management system, electronic health record, population management software, and other reporting systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people of various educational and socio-economic backgrounds using clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians, clinic staff, patients and volunteers.
- Ability to function efficiently and independently, and plan/prioritize daily work activities to meet clinic goals and objectives.
