The Master Scheduler/Planner is responsible for the scheduling and planning of the work orders for manufacturing operations, accountable for the development, maintenance and execution of the master production schedule and establish communications with customer service team on order commitment, order change requests to support the achievement of On-time delivery, sales, inventory, lead time.

The main responsibility of the position is purchasing RMs and critical production supplies, supplier management to meet production requirement and support inventory and cost saving goals of the site. Master scheduler/Planner will work closely with Supply Chain Manager to optimize overall supply chain from start to finish for all product families at the Garden Grove site and will work closely with plant supervision and team members to monitor material, equipment, machine, and personnel resources.

  • Provide feedback to management team on changes or events that affect the production adherence to schedule, maintains the production schedule to reflect change and recommends actions relative to OTP, lead time objectives
  • The objectives of this position are based on continuous improvements in on-time delivery, lead time reduction, inventory control and cost saving performance at the site level. This position must ensure all oversight areas are performed in accordance with standard operating procedures and cGMP requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree - Supply Chain Management or related business (Required)
  • Master Degree - preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in supply Chain Management experience in production environment (Required)
  • 2+ years of QAD experience (Preferred)
  • 1+ years' Experience leading, supervising and developing direct reports (required)
  • Practical/Technical/Digital Knowledge

    Experience in effectively utilizing MRP (computerized manufacturing systems), inventory control.

    Experience in purchasing of materials and services, materials planning, production scheduling, inventory, and sales & operations planning,

    Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PPT, and Project; shown data gathering & data analysis skills

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $77,400 to $120,100 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $85,100 to $132,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
