Position Objective:


Maintain and develop existing customer base. Prospect and add new Customers. Continue to drive growth, introduction of new product and selling value added services.



Primary Responsibilities


  • Direct communication with customers regarding Sales, existing orders, bids and follow up activities
  • Meet with customers to discuss new products and provide presentations
  • Conduct surveys and audits of customers systems and filters that are currently being used to come up with a correct recommendation, then put together a quote from survey and audits
  • Conduct customer visits, customer lunch and learns, webinars and virtual meetings
  • Review QlikView (QLKV) and compare monthly, quarterly and yearly sales target to actual sales
  • Manage SalesForce to add part numbers to existing contract and updating prices, adding/deleting contacts for Customer Accounts, logging calls, creating/editing opportunities
  • Working with Clean Air Center (CAC) and fore market to discover solutions for customers and communicating it back to customers
  • Work with Application Engineers to get correct product to end users
  • Collaborate with Customer Service on quotes, orders, and lead time updates
  • Collaborate with operations Manager on inventory, lead times, and service opportunities
  • Work with Credit Department to get orders off credit hold
  • Work with Costing Department to set up pricing in SalesForce
  • Communicate with Operations Manager on open orders, open quotes and inventory supply
  • Communicate with National Sales team about special pricing and other customer updates
  • Work with customer service and post sales team to complete discrepancy reports on customer orders
  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and sales targets to ensure goals will be met
  • Complete Arbor assigned training
  • Complete Expense reports on time bi-weekly or monthly
  • Report car mileage into Holman
  • Research dormant account history and past purchases
  • Attend weekly regional sales meetings
  • Build a strong network through various social media outlets and Professional Organizations
  • Participate in networking with Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry groups
  • Participate in Trade Shows, locally, regionally and nationally
  • Other duties assigned


Requirements
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP and/or Salesforce preferred
  • Understanding and experience with high value added product selling, pricing, and negotiation.
  • Channel management, including an understanding of distribution models and end user motivations.
  • Experience selling to mechanical contractors, facility managers, general contractors, and C-level management a plus.
  • Ability to communicate a technical concept or value added benefit to achieve buy-in from diverse teams to meet sales targets and profitability.
  • A history of consistently delivering on expectations for growth and profitability must be demonstrated.
  • A team player that possesses a natural way of influencing, both internally and externally.
  • A self-starter with a creative eye to implement marketing and promotional campaigns designed to achieve specific growth objectives regionally and nationally.
  • Air Filter Sales Experience preferred, but not necessary
  • 1-2 years prior selling experience B to B in Life Science, Chemical, Microelectronics and/or Data Center preferred, but not necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Business or related field preferred
