Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for a Ride and Handling Intern for the summer to join the Driving Performance Test Team in Irvine, CA.
Essential Duties:
Development includes vehicle dynamics subjective evaluation, tire testing, spring and bar selection, damper tuning, MDPS calibration, and countermeasure development of prototype vehicles at various stages of development.
Develop and execute test plans, coordinate test vehicles, and manage supplier activities.
Support vehicle dynamics development activities at the Hyundai California Proving Ground
Create and present clear and concise status and technical reports.
Execute additional special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Mechanical engineering student with at least 2 years of automotive/dynamics related course work.
Automotive background or experience desired.
Pursing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Student in junior/senior year, within 6 months of graduation, or a graduate student preferred.
Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
