Join our team as a Facilities Management Specialist! In this role, you'll be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks across research, clinical, and office spaces. You'll demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities. Your primary duties will include:
*Managing maintenance requests for various equipment services.
*Liaise with IT and vendors to troubleshoot computer and technical issues.
*Assisting with minor repairs and assembling/dismantling of office and conference room furniture and equipment.
*Maintaining key inventory and managing building access requests.
*Managing equipment inventory database and procurement of supplies.
*Supporting small-scale department renovation projects.
Salary Range: $25.95/hour - $54.50/hour
*Must have at least two years of experience working with common computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.
*Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with IT personnel and external vendors to troubleshoot computer issues and resolve technical challenges.
*Skill in understanding and interpreting technical procedures, instructions, manuals, specifications, blueprints and diagrams.
*Basic arithmetic skills for inventory management and calculations.
*Knowledge of CISCO, Jabber, and other IT systems, apps, is preferred.
